The tension escalated when Yachty confronted Mitch during the recent Key Glock episode for giving career advice to the Memphis rapper. Yachty accused Mitch of benefiting from his connection to Yachty, who had helped launch his career.

Budden seized upon this conflict, alluding to their past disputes over the state of rap and their contrasting views on artistry. He questioned Yachty's music career, labeling him as a representative of "wrong" modern rap.
