AceShowbiz - Sexyy Red recently held an Instagram Live stream with her friends, where some viewers took issue with her reaction to comments comparing one of her friends to rapper Finesse2Tymes.
"Who looks like Finesse?" Red asked the viewers before covering her mouth. In the background, someone questioned, "Why [do] they keep saying that?" Then another friend jumped in, "Everybody put their face in the camera. Who the f**k looks like Finesse? Don't nobody look like Finesse over here."
Fans believed she was laughing at her friend's appearance, which they found offensive. "Watch out for the 'friends' that think it's overly funny," someone warned. A separate user wrote, "[You] couldn't pay to read any negative comments on my friends. That's weird."
However, Sexyy Red took to the comments section of The Neighborhood Talk's coverage of the incident to clarify that she was simply joking around with her friends.
"MAN WE FROM STLOUIS WE GOT THICK SKIN!!" she commented. "& we been flammin sh* we don't care bout nuna dis the joke was funny mfs say I look like young thug all the time and we laugh we all still get [ninja emoji]'z so next ..."
Some fans supported Sexyy Red's stance, arguing that her jokes were in good fun and shouldn't be taken seriously. However, others criticized her for making fun of her friends and suggested that she was not a good friend.
