AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" season 33 returned with Oscars Night on Tuesday, September 24. In the episode, all 13 contestants hit the dance floor to celebrate the Oscar-winning movies alongside their professional dancer partners.

Kicking off the night was Jenn Tran and her partner Sasha Farber, who danced a Tango to "A Little Party Never Killed Anybody". Judge Carrie Ann Inaba admitted she was surprised by the performance. Derek Hough praised "The Bachelorette" alum for owning the stage, while Bruno Tonioli likened her to a "mischievous little kitten." Jenn got 19 out of 30.

Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart then followed it up with a Waltz to iconic "Godfather" theme song. Derek loved it, saying it was simple and smooth. Bruno pointed out the actor's mistakes, but noted that he had the gravitas and presence. Eric was given 15 out of 30.

Later, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson danced a Jive to "Top Gun" song "Highway to the Danger Zone". Bruno said while there was a little mistake, Danny handled it well. Carrie Ann praised Danny for his improvement, while Derek pointed out that it was a difficult routine. Danny earned 21 out of 30.

The next dancers were Anna Delvey and her partner Ezra Sosa, dancing a Quickstep to a song from "The Devil Wears Prada". Carrie Ann thought Anna was holding back her potential, while Derek urged her to improve the energy and loved her beautiful turns. As for Bruno, he called it a proper, classic, elegant dance, but he told her to believe in herself. Anna got 17 out of 30.

Dancing a Rumba to "Barbie" OST "What Was I Made For" were Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong. Derek said Chandler was made for dancing, while Bruno said Chandler made it look easy. As for Carrie Ann, she said Chandler touched everyone's hearts with her performance. The judges gave her 24 out of 30.

Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, on the other hand, opted for a Paso Doble to "Ode to Joy" from "Die Hard", in which he starred alongside Bruce Willis. For the comment, Bruno noticed that Reginald has started to defrost, though he still needed to cover more space and propel his hips. Derek dubbed Reginald an American treasure, while Carrie Ann noticed his improvement. Reginald got 16 out of 30.

Later, Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold danced a Paso Doble to the "Superman" meme, paying homage to his viral "Clark Kent" meme at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Carrie Ann said it was golden. Derek thought he's charming, but he still had some stuff to work out on. Bruno loved Stephen's energy, but he needed to control it. Stephen received 22 out of 30.

Joey Grazidei and his partner Jenna Johnson were up next, dancing a Rumba to "Shallow" from "A Star Is Born". Derek loved the routine, saying that Joey filled the space beautifully. Bruno praised Joey for truly leading the dance, while Carrie Ann admitted that she was mesmerized. Joey earned 22 out of 30.

As for Phaedra Parks and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, the pair chose to dance a Foxtrot to a song from "Dreamgirls". Carrie Ann said she was touched by the dance and that Phaedra channeled her emotions well during the routine. Derek noted that Phaedra oozed sensuality when dancing. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star got 21 out of 30.

Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov danced a Rumba to "This Is Me" from "The Greatest Showman". Carrie Ann loved how Tori was willing to take a risk, but she needed to refine. Derek wanted Tori to balance strength and fluidity better, while Bruno praised Tori for letting herself go despite technical issues. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum got 19 out of 30.

Dancing a Foxtrot to "City of Stars" from "La La Land" were Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach. Derek was impressed by how smooth the waltz was, while Bruno said the routine was graceful. As for Carrie Ann, she thought that the dance made the impossible possible. Dwight received 22 out of 30.

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko later hit the dance floor to dance a Quickstep to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5". Bruno said it was "so good" in hold, light-footed, though he noticed Brooks' mistake in the beginning. Carrie Ann hoped Brooks stopped rushing as she's a beautiful dancer. Meanwhile, Derek said Brooks had potential. The judges gave her 20 out of 30.

Concluding the night was Ilona Maher, who danced a Salsa to "I've Had The Time of My Life" from "Dirty Dancing" alongside her partner Alan Bersten. Carrie Ann suggested the routine would be talked about for years to come. Derek loved her confidence and her personality, while Bruno praised Ilona's footwork and hip action. The routine earned Ilona 21 out of 30.

It was time to reveal the results. Chandler, Ilona, Eric, Dwight, Danny, Jenn, Brooks, Stephen and Phaedra were revealed to be safe, meaning that Tori, Reginald and Anna were in the bottom three. Only one of the three would remain in the competition and that was Reginald. That meant Tori Spelling and Anna Delvey were unfortunately sent home!
