Instead of taking sides, the producer offers a diplomatic answer when asked about the beef between the 'In My Feelings' rapper and the 'Not Like Us' spitter.

AceShowbiz - Metro Boomin appears to choose to be safe. Instead of taking sides, the producer offered a diplomatic answer when asked about Drake and Kendrick Lamar who are currently beefing with each other.

In his interview during the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit, Metro reflected on the feud, noting that he's cool with everyone. "As far as being diplomatic, it's just entertainment, at the end of the day. I have love and respect for all my collaborators," Metro, who worked on "Like That" alongside Kendrick, said. "I just want to see everybody do their best and continue to help push this forward."

He continued, "You're supposed to feel like you're the best. With two of the top dogs in the game and you both feel like you're the best... we gotta have a showdown."

Metro added that fans made the beef even worse with their responses. He noted, "It's more like Stan culture. It makes it kind of weird."

Some fans, however, were not happy with Metro's response. Some people pointed out how Metro helped kick out the beef when he tapped Kendrick on his single "Like That", featuring Future.

"N***a forgot he produced the like that beat which kicked off the beef. And did he not make the bbl drizzy beat? 'I got love and respect for all my collaborators' but we should also pick a side? yeah ight man," one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another added, "insane to me he's spent years now unable to stand his ground against drake he always gotta backpedal with some lame s**t like this."

One noted, "Metro be talking crazy on sc and then go be the most humble and pacific person in interviews. Stop the cap dawg we saw your tweets lol." Another user similarly wrote, "Bruh. What's the point of saying this after all the stuff you said towards drake and made toward drake during the beef. Backpedalling now just don't make sense."
