AceShowbiz - Julia Fox has responded to rumors that she's pregnant. On Wednesday, September 18, the "Uncut Gems" star addressed the speculations that emerged after she posted a video of her sporting a burgeoning baby bump.
The 34-year-old clarified that she's not pregnant for real and the baby bump was fake as she's working on a new project. "Omg its for a movie!!" the actress explained. "THE BELLY IS NOT REAL!!!"
Julia first sparked pregnancy rumors when she took to Instagram Stories to share a clip of her showing off her apparent baby bump while posing in front of the camera. The mom of one wore a white tee and matching shorts as she held her phone with a cute bunny case. "Oops," so she wrote over the video.
Julia didn't reveal details about the upcoming flick, though she was revealed to be starring in "Perfect", an LGBTQ romantic comedy. According to Variety, the former girlfriend of Kanye West is set to play a "wealthy pregnant woman who is living out an escapist fantasy as she falls in love with a younger woman."
Set in a "scenic-but-rundown" lakeside resort in the California mountains, the movie will also star "I Know What You Did Last Summer" star Ashley Moore and newcomer Micaela Wittman. Ashley will play Julia's love interest in the forthcoming movie, which logline read, "Their sudden relationship complicated by an upcoming birth, turbulent social events and clashing values about the world's uncertain future."
As for Micaela, she will play a town local who guides Ashley's character through obstacles that artist during her fractured romantic experience with Julia's character. It was also reported that Lio Mehiel and Debi Mazar were in talks to join the cast.
In addition to "Perfect", Julia will be appearing in Steven Soderbergh's ghost drama "Presence" which will also star Lucy Liu. Another project of Julia includes Monkeypaw's sports horror thriller "Him", which was produced by Jordan Peele.
