AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez, 55, attended the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 6 to premiere her latest film, "Unstoppable." She turned heads with her daring fashion choice, wearing a floor-length silver Tamara Ralph dress featuring high splits on both sides held together by oversized black velvet bows. Her side boob and bare hips were on full display.
The sultry ensemble was complemented with a metallic Judith Leiber clutch, Dolce and Gabbana platform heels, and Hassanzadeh jewelry. Lopez completed her look with simple straightened hair parted down the middle, drawing all attention to her show-stopping dress. She later shared striking images of her look on Instagram, with the caption, "Toronto #TIFF2024 #UnstoppableMovie."
While Lopez dazzled on the red carpet, Ben Affleck who produced the movie was noticeably absent, reportedly due to work commitments in Los Angeles and spending time with his children. Affleck's close friend and co-producer, Matt Damon, did attend the premiere, looking sharp in a gray suit and black button-up, accompanied by his wife, Luciana Barroso.
This marks Lopez's first significant public engagement since her split from Affleck on August 20, 2024. Despite Affleck's absence, Lopez and Damon appeared in high spirits, posing together with the cast.
The movie is a sports drama based on the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles who won the 2011 NCAA national wrestling championship despite being born with one leg. Lopez plays the role of Robles' mother, Judy, in the film. Directed by William Goldenberg, the movie also stars Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, and Don Cheadle.
The couple's professional partnership on "Unstoppable" commenced in March 2023, and production wrapped up in January 2024. Affleck previously expressed his fondness for working with Lopez, describing it as a "joy" and praising her work ethics.
However, their personal relationship hit a rough patch, leading to their separation in April 2024. Reports indicate that the divorce could potentially become contentious, especially since the pair did not have a prenuptial agreement when they eloped in Las Vegas in 2022.
As Lopez continues to navigate her high-profile divorce, her appearance at TIFF serves as a testament to her professional resilience and commitment to her work.
