The 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin' ' songstress finds herself in hot water for not blurring out her three children's school names in the pictures she shares on social media.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson has landed in hot water due to her recent social media post. The "These Boots Are Made for Walkin' " songstress was highly criticized by her followers for allegedly ignoring the safety of her children.

On Wednesday, September 4, the 44-year-old singer/actress shared her excitement for her three kids, who were going back to school following the summer break. She treated social media users to a series of photos from their first day of school.

In her new Instagram post, Jessica uploaded her pictures with her kids, 12-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew, 11-year-old son Ace Knute and 5-year-old daughter Birdie Mae, whom she shares with her husband Eric Johnson. While Jessica was wearing a casual outfit, Maxwell, Ace and Birdie sported their uniforms.

Jessica struck some poses with Maxwell, Ace and Birdie. At one point, the "Angels" singer, who was spotted ditching her wedding ring, stood in between Maxwell and Ace. In the meantime, Birdie was confidently posing in front of her mother. All of them looked in good spirits, flashing their radiant big smiles at the camera.

Shortly after Jessica shared the never-before-seen photos, Instagram users noticed that she did not blur or hide her kids' school names as Maxwell's white top, Ace's red polo shirt and Birdie's gray outer came with embroideries of the school logos. It prompted the users to criticize Jessica, who was accused of neglecting her children's safety.

In the comments section of the post, one in particular sarcastically asked, "What responsible adult in the industry wouldn't think to blur your child's school!?" Another wondered, "Why would you publicly post your kids' school name?! I'm not famous but no way I'd share where my kid goes to school publicly. This is wild."

Though so, Jessica's fans came to her defense. One of them defended her against the online critics, "Who cares that you can see where they go to school. Everyone knows celebrity kids go to the same school. Uniforms are the same. Y'all just want a reason to hate on her." Another told the haters to "be kind," adding, "She prob didn't realize school names are visible. Now y'all just drawing attention to it."
