AceShowbiz - Rolling Ray gets candid about his health issues. On Monday, August 26, the Internet personality revealed on Instagram that he was rushed from the ER to the ICU when his health was deteriorating back in May and June.
"My breathing was dropping rapidly. Went from ah 86 to 72, then after 3 days in the icu it dropped below ah 55," he recalled. "I was diagnosed with pneumonia & a bad blood infection. I kept screaming I can't breathe. I don't think I'll make it to see Mother's Day."
Ray then thanked his friends and family for standing by his side every step of the way. "Thanks for telling me how this is temporary & that I will make it out. …. Also thank you Mr. Scorpio for coming up there almost every day to see me, spend time with me, get me food when I got off the machine & more."
He additionally expressed gratitude to the nurses at Howard University Hospital "for the care, love, & generosity you showed me." He continued, "It wasn't easy not being able to speak but it all worked out."
"I thought I was gonna die yall. But I fought, not just for me but for my fans, family, friends & haters! Because it never gave dead! Awww purrr! & now that the summer time is almost over & I spent most of my days healing, I'm looking forward to my birthday in 9 days!" he added, before concluding, "I let it all work out for the best! & I'm still alive! Thank you GOD! Major content is on the way. & happy #VirgoSeason!"
Upon catching wind of Ray's post, fans had mixed responses. "Jesus! Only you did that because he looked to be at Heavens Gate," one user wrote. Another said, "Never know when it's our time," before sharing a Bible verse.
Some others, meanwhile, brought up Ray's recent comment on Chrisean Rock's son. "No funny CHRISEAN should've got that abortion that [Blueface] begged her to get. No child should have to grow up without both parents! Especially no handicap child!" so he wrote on X at the time.
"Didn't he talk about chrisean son...God will humble you quickly," an Instagram user wrote. Another echoed, "Bet you won't speak on no child again."
Someone else noted, "Maybe if Ray wasn't always talking bad about someone this wouldn't happen." Similarly, another wrote, "I would stop running my mouth and shift my attention to positivity atp," with one suggesting, "Someone with so many problems should probably be nicer to ppl."
