Wendy Williams 'Upbeat' During First Public Appearance in Over a Year

The 60-year-old former daytime TV queen, who has been keeping a low profile, is seen stopping by a holistic store in New Jersey alongside her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is doing well! The former daytime TV queen was seen out and about for the first time in more than a year when she stopped by a holistic store in New Jersey alongside her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.

An employee at Bolingo Balance in Newark recalled the former "The Wendy Williams Show" host's visit a week ago. The staff member told Page Six that the 60-year-old was "sharp, upbeat and aware" and "very bubbly" during the visit. It was also said that Wendy chatted with Victor Bowman, son of the late Dr. Sebi who runs the shop, about health products.

"[Wendy was] engaging but wasn't as familiar with what we do here, so her son was more explaining things," the worker further recalled. "She talked about circulation improvement but didn’t want to get into too much detail on their first meeting and plans to come back in the near future."

Victor allegedly gifted Wendy several holistic products, including iron-rich herbs such as sarsaparilla, contribo and bottano oil, which is "big for skin." The TV/radio personality additionally was given Dr. Sebi’s capsules for overall hormonal balance and mental wealth.

Victor took to his Facebook account to share a picture of him posing with Wendy, who rocked a denim shirt and matching pants. She had a bouquet of flowers in one arm. "Wendy Williams come to my store. much love Queen," so Bowman wrote in the caption.

Wendy was last publicly photographed in March 2023. The mom of one has been keeping a low profile amid her health issues, including Graves' Disease and Lymphedema. In February, her team revealed she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

She was put in an undisclosed treatment center during her guardianship. Her family, however, claimed that they couldn't reach out to her, which eventually led to documentary series "Where Is Wendy Williams?" on Lifetime.
