AceShowbiz - Enchanting's cause of death has been revealed. The artist, who was signed to Gucci Mane's record label 1017 before she left the company earlier this year, was unveiled to have died from an accidental overdose.
Revealing the news was TMZ. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office told the outlet that the 26-year-old female rapper overdosed on oxycodone and benzodiazepines. Oxycodone is the synthetic opioid while benzodiazepines are a class of depressants.
Enchanting's death was confirmed by her close friend and fellow artist LilCJ Kasino. LilCJ Kasino wrote in mid-June, "They Pulled The Plug Bro This S**t So F**ked Up I Just Knew You was Finna Pull Threw." He added, "You gone Forever Be Stop6 Princess & Kasino First Lady."
"They Don't Know All Hours You Spent At The Kasino Studio Sleeping There Making Music Putting This S**t Together And You Went Way Further Than Us," he went on paying tribute to the late star. "I Always Told You How Proud I Was Of You , You Brought @laflare1017 To The H66D & I was The First Person You Called Ill Never Forget You Kept It Solid Threw Yo Whole Career It Was None I Couldn't call You for, You F**ked The Gang Up With This One #LongLiveBigChant."
A representative from Enchanting's management team later told The Shade Room that she was suffering from withdrawals. "She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried," the rep explained.
Enchanting was known for her unique voice and impactful lyrics. The raptress initially captured the public's attention with her 2018 mixtape "Love & Drugs" and solidified her place in the industry with her 2022 project "No Luv".
