AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt has just given an evidence that the apple doesn't fall from the tree. The Hollywood star, who has been estranged from his children, has taken on a motorcycle adventure, just weeks after his son Pax landed in hospital due to an e-bike accident.
The 60-year-old felt the need for speed while in Iceland. In a video and pictures obtained and published by TMZ on Thursday, August 22, the actor was seen preparing for his ride and covering his face with a black ski mask for warmth.
The "Bullet Train" star at least made sure to put safety first as he put on a helmet before mounting up. He pulled out of the parking lot and throttled up his speed, rolling out through the city on his motorcycle.
Brad, who wore a black jacket with bright yellow stripes and matching pants, was accompanied by a couple other bikers. It's unclear where they were going, but they got to at least enjoy the serene view from the starting line.
Brad's motorcycle tour comes several weeks after his son Pax was hospitalized following an e-bike crash in Los Angeles. The 20-year-old got involved in an accident while driving his BMX-style e-bike in Los Angeles on July 29. He rear-ended a stopped car at a congested intersection on Los Feliz Boulevard at 5 P.M. and did not wear a helmet at the time.
Pax was reportedly unconscious following the crash until paramedics arrived at the scene. Lola Cavalli, one of the first people to assist Pax, recalled, "He was hit on the head. His mouth was filled with blood."
Following his discharge from the hospital, he still faces a long road to recovery. "He's out of the ICU but not out of the woods," sources told RadarOnline.com. "Pax suffered serious head trauma and a hip injury, so he has a long way to go yet."
His mother Angelina Jolie is reportedly "frazzled" and "fretting" in the aftermath of her son Pax's e-bike accident. Meanwhile, Brad "is distraught and worried over Pax's accident, but he is unable to reach him." A source told Daily Mail, "It is very upsetting to Brad whenever he hears of one of the kids being hurt and he feels completely powerless because there is nothing that he can do at all," noting that the kids won't take his calls.
