AceShowbiz - Big Sean has unveiled a music video for his single titled "Yes". A little over one month after launching the song, the "I Don't F**k with You" hitmaker treated his devotees to the banger visuals of the track.
On Tuesday, August 20, the 36-year-old hip-hop artist released the official MV on YouTube. In the beginning of the video, he displays photos of himself when he was a child. While some of the printed pictures capture him alone, others see him spending time with his loved ones.
The 3-minute footage goes on to show Sean standing in front of a vintage white car in what appears to be a garage. He is surrounded by many unidentified men, who look in sync with the spitter in their nearly all-black ensembles. At one point, he kills one of the men with a laser that comes out of his finger.
Later on, Sean is documented playing chess with a man, who covers up in a red suit, a pair of matching pants, a matching tie and white shirt. The man hides his face with a red headpiece. The vibrant outfit stands out as others featured in the scene are made in black-and-white.
The man then ditches his headpiece, flaunting his curly short bleached hair. Sean appears to have won the game, prompting the opponent to throw the chessboard before it breaks into little pieces.
Near the end of the music video, Sean trades his stylish get-up, including a black leather jacket that comes with silver embellishments, for a white tee underneath a matching bodysuit. He also sports a pair of black-and-white Converse sneakers, earrings and a matching bandana covering his black braided hair.
After dropping the music video, Sean received positive comments from his listeners. One in particular gushed, "I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY BIG SEAN IS NOT VALUED IN THE WORLD, THIS MAN IS VERY GOOD AND ALWAYS SPITS FIRE!!!" Another exclaimed, "The production went crazy." A third added, "Shout out Cole Bennett for all these banger music video GOD bless you."
"Yes" was released on various music streaming platforms on July 19. The track, which is written by the rapper himself along with other songwriters, is included in his latest album titled "Better Me Than You".
