AceShowbiz - Robin Williams' son, Zak Williams, is remembering his father, the late actor and comedian, on the 10th anniversary of his death. On Sunday, August 11, Zak, 41, posted a picture of the Oscar winner on Instagram, along with a touching tribute.
"Dad, it's hard to believe it's been 10 years," he began his caption beneath a photo of Robin as Mork from the comedy series "Mork & Mindy". "Today, I'm reflecting on the immense love you shared with all of us-your family, your friends, and everyone you met."
Zak continued, expressing how Robin inspires him daily to create a more loving and connected world. He added, "You continue to inspire me every single day to do whatever I can to help create a more connected and loving world for our family."
Robin died by suicide on August 11, 2014, at the age of 63. Zak previously shared that his father placed a high priority on his well-being and mental health.
Throughout his career, Robin charmed generations of fans with his standup comedy and acting performances. He starred in movies such as "Good Will Hunting", "Dead Poets Society", "Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Good Morning, Vietnam".
Zak's sister, Zelda Williams, also posted a tribute to Robin, debunking rumors that he had a pet monkey. She urged social media users to be skeptical of inaccurate posts and focus on doing something nice for themselves instead.
