AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aniston may be setting her eyes on Ben Affleck amid rumors of his marital woes with Jennifer Lopez. The "Marley & Me" star is said to have had "a mini crush" on the Oscar-winning writer for years and is hoping to hang out with him in the wake of his imminent divorce.

Aniston and Affleck co-starred in 2009's romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You", but there's a chance that their relationship may turn into something romantic, according to In Touch. "Jen has definitely had a mini crush on Ben for years, but he's always been in these very serious, long-term relationships during that time. But change is in the air," a longtime source allegedly close to the actress tells the outlet.

"As things pretty openly wind down between J. Lo and Ben, there's a real opportunity for Jen [Aniston] to make up for lost time with Ben," the source adds. "They've never really been single at the same time before, and Jen has been a true-blue fan of Ben's for decades."

"They did work together on 'He's Just Not That Into You' 15 years ago but they were trying to figure out a project together for years before then, and they still keep each other in mind for stuff," a so-called insider chimes in. "There's a very friendly and flirty open line of communication between them, plus a boatload of mutual friends - everybody from Jon Hamm to Sandra Bullock, who can totally see Ben and Jen becoming a couple down the road."

Of what catches Aniston's interest about Ben, the source details, "Ben really is exactly Jen's type: he's an overachiever, he's self-made, he's still culturally relevant, and he's still handsome as hell." The source notes though, "But Jen has had these unrequited crushes before - several times since she and Brad Pitt split up - and it's always been tricky for her to turn them into something real."

Aniston was married to Pitt from 2000 until 2005. She went on to marry Justin Theroux in 2015, but it also ended up in a divorce, which was finalized in 2018.

Affleck married Jennifer Garner in 2005 and got divorced from the actress in 2018. He reconciled with Lopez in 2021, 17 years after the called off their first engagement. They got married in Las Vegas in July 2022, but have been living apart for the past several months. It's recently reported that they are expected to make their divorce announcement by the end of the summer.
