AceShowbiz - Zac Efron is back in the United States. Days after being hospitalized in Spain due to a swimming accident, the "Baywatch" actor was spotted arriving at a Miami airport.
In photos obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, August 6, the 36-year-old could be seen keeping a low profile. He sported a white hoodie and a baseball cap with a black face covering that concealed part of his eyes.
Zac was joined by an entourage, who were seen walking by his side. It was unveiled that the "High School Musical" alum went to a mansion on an island in Biscayne Bay.
Zac was rushed to a Spain hospital after a frightening incident in a swimming pool at a luxe villa in Ibiza. Per TMZ's report, the Kevin Von Erich depicter in "The Iron Claw" hit the bottom of the swimming pool and ingested water into his lungs. He went for a swim with friends very early Saturday morning, August 3 in Ibiza when he decided to take a dive.
The dive was so deep that Zac ingested a large amount of water into his lungs when his chest hit the bottom of the pool. He showed signs of distress and onsite security helped him out of the water. He was momentarily dazed and was taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
At the hospital, Zac took a chest x-ray to confirm the water was gone from his lungs. He was cleared for release within hours but chose to stay at the hospital because there were tons of photographers who had gotten wind of the swimming pool incident when he was there. He went back to his normal schedule after getting back to his villa from the hospital the next day.
