AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially selling their Beverly Hills mansion, adding fuels to speculation about their imminent divorce. The singer/actress and the actor/filmmaker have publicly listed their marital home for a whopping $68 million, nearly a month after it was reported that they were quietly trying to sell the house.
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California mansion was publicly listed on Thursday, July 11. The pair purchased the house for just over $60 million in 2023, meaning they're asking $8 million more than they paid when they bought it last year.
But the home was recently renovated with "the highest level of quality within the last four months." The 38,000-square-foot property also features a separate 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a caretaker house, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a spacious 12-car garage and parking for 80 vehicles.
J.Lo and Ben have been living apart for several months now, with the Oscar-winning screenwriter and producer staying in a rental home in Brentwood, near the house of his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. He reportedly removed his belongings from the marital home last month, when J.Lo was away in Europe.
Recently, it's reported that the pair, who tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding in July 2022, are selling off art pieces from their California mansion. Sources close to the couple shared that collectors snapped up various pieces from their Beverly Hills home in early June.
While the pair remain mum on the split rumors, it's said that the chances of reconciliation between them grow slimmer by the day and divorce is imminent. "The divorce is happening; it's just a question of timing," a source close to the duo told Page Six. Despite efforts to maintain a united front, sources indicated that the relationship might be beyond repair.
Their imminent divorce is predicted to get messy as J.Lo is reportedly seeking half of her husband's $150 million fortune despite being worth $400 million herself. The pop diva is said to be taking revenge on the "Gone Girl" star after picking up most of the tab during their relationship.
