AceShowbiz - Erica Mena continues to put her baby daddy Safaree Samuels on blast on social media. On Wednesday, July 10, the "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" alum called out her ex for allegedly not taking care of their kids.
On Instagram Stories, Erica posted photos of her kids' hair to show how Safaree "purposely" dressed their children "sloppy and cheap because you know that's the one thing I take pride in outside their education." She continued, "You literally do nothing for them outside of CS you don't pay for school you don't pay for healthcare(but yet you claim you sell it) their activities - you don't do anything to chip in to help for their birthdays."
The reality TV star further complained, "You literally skipped out on Christmas and Safires birthday all together this year - what you could do at least do when you do have them is take pride in that and actually put some effort."
"You got all these money so you tell the world and you got all these diamonds but yet why is it when you have your kids they walking around looking like this?" Erica asked. "Did grandma and aunties not feel the need to grab a comb for you babies Sis?"
In a separate post, Erica recalled Safaree getting their kids, Safires and Legend, when the latter's hair braided already. She expected her kids' "so called auntie and grandma" would help take the braids out since they were in town, but was left disappointed. "How is it no one thought to take my baby braids out and wash his hair?!!?! Especially since he was in and out a chlorine pool," Erica fumed.
Concluding her rant, the "Stepmother" actress wrote, "You know I can go on for days with all the spiteful s**t you don't do for your kids just because you think it's a way to hurt me but not grooming and properly dressing your kids every time you have them it's just honestly despicable."
The 36-year-old star's posts garnered mixed opinions from Internet users. "Smh sad what mothers have to go through but don't waste you breath exposing him will not make him be a better parent . Pray & continue to be a good mom your children will appreciate you so much more when they're older this is just a moment in time," one user suggested.
Some others, meanwhile, didn't show empathy for Erica. "She lost me at the part where she sent the children over while knowing their hair needed to be taken out. Why didn't you send them there looking appropriate to begin with?" one critic said. Similarly, one other wrote, "So you send your son with old braids expecting them to be taken down by his aunt or grandma who was visiting when you could've taken them down before you sent him?"
One person said, "I'll just get a step daddy and move on." Someone, on the other hand, accused Erica of "only making all this noise" because of Safaree's recent interview. "Clearly he's been doing this, but now all of a sudden it's a problem," the user added.
In the said interview, her ex-husband lamented his split from Nicki Minaj, wherein he said it was the "biggest struggle" he had to overcome. In response to the remarks, Erica fumed, "I will FOREVER be embarrassed I gave sis these incredible beautiful babies. He don't even talk or care about his seeds this much online or in real life."
