Erica's lengthy post came after Safaree shockingly took to his Instagram account to leak security footage featuring Erica getting physically violent with him.

AceShowbiz - Erica Mena has a fiery response to Safaree Samuels' new Instagram post. On Wednesday, October 16, Erica wrote a lengthy message slamming her ex-husband, who shared a video of her physically attacking him.

In her post, Erica said, "This all happened in 2023. This so-called restraining order he's talking about He tried to get was in 2024 and very out the blue and that was after his attempt to try and get back with me in May 2024." She continued, "The sick part about it is the videos he's posting was ALL in 2023 the one me being in enraged was because he violated my body."

The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" alum, who shares two children with Safaree, added, "I wanted to answer on why he would put my health in jeopardy but he's not admitting that part. He's also not admitting that he had to drop his fake restraining order attempt because of all the evidence I had which I have not posted yet was in my home, begging me in front of our kids on his knees literally in front of our kids to take him back - the evidence PROOF alone would've caused him losing the entire filing."

In her rant, Erica also accused Safaree of gaslighting her and making her feel as though she's the issue. She additionally mentioned the child support disputes between them, writing, "You have been purposely trying to make me have financial burdens by not doing your part when it comes to the kids so much so you have went months months without paying child support until I had to get the actual department of child support to start taking my child support out of your bank account directly."

Erica's post came after Safaree shockingly leaked security footage featuring Erica getting physically violent with him. The clip consisted of videos being put together with one incident taking place in the presence of their kids.

Erica was seen pushing Safaree and breaking property inside their home. "I have to put myself first," he said. "Because I'm either gonna end up in jail or worse because Im dealing with someone who's anger management is nonexistent."

"When you have children with someone," Safaree, who recently petitioned to have his child support payment lowered, continued. "I should have just noticed certain things when it came to parenting."
