AceShowbiz - While 2024 is almost over, it's not the case for the parenting drama between Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels. On Christmas Eve, the exes took to their respective Instagram accounts to throw accusations toward each other after Safaree accused Erica of blocking him on their daughter's iPad.
On Tuesday, December 24, Erica shared a video of her asking her daughter Safire to show her iPad, which turned out to be out of battery. "Is it dead again? Like always? We've got to charge it?" she could be heard saying. It seemed like Erica insinuated that her daughter couldn't reply to her dad's text because the device was dead, not because she blocked him.
She additionally slammed Safaree on the caption, which read, "Last year it was that individual's Christmas. It NEVER showed up because he was with ex wife and its family instead." She later questioned, "Is she not available for you this year? [clown emoji] or yHow about that girl your manipulating?"
The former star of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" also insisted that Safaree is an absent dad for their two children, Safire and Legend. "It's been six months of not seeing these babies now since it's Christmas I guess the photo opportunity is more important now than the once a week parenting time that's been court ordered since 2022," so she penned.
Erica's post came after Safaree suggested that Erica blocked his number on their daughter's iPad since his texts didn't go through. In a screenshot that he shared on his Instagram page, Safaree could be seen trying to arrange a pickup through the kid. "You need to learn to unblock dadda," Safaree wrote after he didn't get a reply from his kid.
"I'm trying to reach my daughter's iPad so I can pick them up for Xmas but I'm blocked," he explained in the caption. "I didn't know 4 year olds know how to block people," he added, insinuating that it was Erica who did the blocking.
He later sarcastically continued, "It's hard being a deadbeat .. but I'm sure after this I'll somehow magically get unblocked." He also added hashtag #blockedparenting at the end of his caption.
