AceShowbiz - Grammy-winning Dead & Co guitarist John Mayer has showered praise on Zach Bryan's highly anticipated album, "The Great American Bar Scene". Recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York, Mayer contributed guitar to the track "Better Days", one of several introspective ballads on Bryan's fifth record.

"I always knew this song Zach wrote was special," Mayer wrote on social media. "I had no idea how beautiful, powerful, and deep an album it would be part of. I'm stunned."

"Better Days" features an uplifting message about embracing the present moment, with Mayer's signature licks and solo providing the musical backbone. The album also boasts collaborations with roots duo Watchhouse, Canadian country singer Noeline Hoffman, and Oklahoma singer-songwriter John Moreland.

Meanwhile, Bryan has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his musical idol, Bruce Springsteen, for their collaboration on "Sandpaper". "Thank you for the day @springsteen," Bryan wrote on social media. "Thank you for making my whole life a dream of a younger me. A reason to believe."

"Sandpaper" features a rhythmic pulse reminiscent of Springsteen's classic hit "I'm on Fire". The full album, which includes 18 songs and a poem, was released on July 4th through Warner Records, with a double vinyl edition scheduled for October 10th.

Bryan has been touring extensively to promote the album, with an impressive lineup of support acts including Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Turnpike Troubadours and The War & Treaty.
