YouTube sensation and rapper DDG has had enough of the negativity directed at his family online, especially towards his young son Halo, as he issues a stern warning to those internet trolls.

AceShowbiz - YouTube star and rapper DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., has become a prominent figure on the internet, amassing millions of followers. However, the darker side of fame is starting to wear on the 26-year-old artist, particularly when the target of criticism is his six-month-old son, Halo.

Sharing details of his frustrations in a recent vlog, DDG didn't hold back in addressing the online trolls who have made disparaging comments about his child's appearance.

In the vlog posted on July 3, DDG explained the decision he made with his girlfriend, actress Halle Bailey, to reveal their son's face after six months of privacy. The couple felt "it was time" for the public to see Halo, despite the inevitable online scrutiny that comes with the territory of being in the spotlight.

The revelation brought a mixture of admiration and, unfortunately, some cruel remarks.

DDG minced no words as he called out the critics, saying, "I seen a few poor, broke, dirty fat, back b***hes, on Instagram talking about my son and it just - it just makes me so angry and mad."

His impassioned outburst reflects the intense protectiveness he feels towards his family. He went on to elaborate, justifying his anger by contrasting his son's life experiences with those of the detractors.

He went on, "But then I have to realize that my son is richer than them and he has a more successful life. He's in Italy at 6 months, he's been across the world already and only been living for 6 months; and they're broke, poor, can barely eat, probably on welfare and they're grown probably living with their momma."

Addressing his possible unwitting offense to anyone not involved in slandering his family, DDG added a disclaimer: he meant no harm to innocent parties. However, his message to the real offenders was clear and uncompromising, "Make sure you keep that on the internet. Cause I'll kill you in real life."

The young couple, who have been dating since early 2022, share not just a bond but also a dedication to their roles as parents. Halle Bailey, known for her role in Disney's "The Little Mermaid", and DDG celebrated their parenthood by getting matching tattoos in honor of their son on Mother's Day. Despite the highs of parenthood, they've had to navigate the harsh criticisms that come with public life.

DDG's firm stance serves as a reminder of the human side behind the celebrity. His protective nature underscores the challenges faced by public figures in keeping their personal lives shielded from the inevitable barrage of online negativity.
