According to a new report, it's the 'Top Gun: Maverick' actor who 'had completely cut Suri out of his life' as the teen has dropped her famous father's last name.

AceShowbiz - While Suri Cruise has seemingly distanced herself from her famous father by dropping his last name, it's reportedly Tom Cruise who cut his daughter out of his life. According to a new report, the actor made a big decision not to see his daughter for the last 11 years.
After the Hollywood star missed his daughter's graduation ceremony in New York City, a source tells In Touch, "The truth is, for the last 11 years, Tom has chosen not to see Suri." The so-called insider adds, "It was entirely Tom's decision not to see Suri."
While sources have long blamed Tom's religion for his estrangement from his daughter, in the end it's his decision to choose Scientology over Suri. "Tom has proven over and over again that his No. 1 loyalty is to [his religion] and David Miscavige," Tony Ortega, an expert on Tom's faith, tells the publication.
As the years passed, the expert continues, "It became more and more obvious Tom had completely cut Suri out of his life. And frankly, Suri may be better off for it."
Tom's no show at Suri's recent graduation was another proof that he made no attempt to reconnect with his daughter. Despite her father's absence, a wtiness says, "Suri couldn't stop smiling," while her mom Katie Holmes "looked so proud, standing by her side and posing for photos" at the event.
Meanwhile, Tom was spotted a few days later at Taylor Swift's concert in London. "He was trading friendship bracelets with superfans and dancing to 'Shake It Off' in a crowd filled with young ladies who were around his daughter's age. This after skipping Suri's graduation - it's like he's living a double life," a source dishes.
Suri, who now goes by Suri Noelle, seemingly also did not spend time with her father on his 62nd birthday. On Wednesday, July 3, the day he celebrated his milestone, the "Mission: Impossible" star was seen with his sister Marian instead.
While having not been seen together with Suri for years, Tom still maintains close relationships with his other kids, Bella, 31, and Connor, 29, whom he shares with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Both of them belong to his religion.
