AceShowbiz - Eva Amurri continues to defend her choice of bridal attire, responding to critics who disapproved of the low-cut neckline of her wedding gown. On Instagram Stories, Amurri turned an iconic 1957 photo of Sophia Loren side-eyeing Jayne Mansfield's ample cleavage into a meme, playfully reminding naysayers that her "32F boobs" were merely "minding their business."
Prior to this, Amurri faced backlash after sharing images of her Kim Kassas gown. Criticized for not "putting away" her breasts, she clapped back, "To anyone scandalized by my breasts not being 'put away'...feel free to screenshot this for later," adding a kiss emoji to the zoomed-in shot of her cleavage.
Amurri purchased the corseted design at Bridal Reflections in New York City, stating, "I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance." She complemented the look with a long veil for added glamor.
Following the ceremony, Amurri changed into a second dress, a minidress by Kim Kassas featuring a feathered trim and lace. She described it as a blend of Priscilla Presley and street style.
Amurri's defense of her wedding dress mirrors the experience of her mother, Susan Sarandon, who was criticized in 2016 for baring her cleavage at the SAG Awards. Amurri has inherited her mother's sense of humor, responding to criticism with quips and images that poke fun at her critics.
Despite the criticism, Amurri and her new husband, chef Ian Hock, were ecstatic with the low-cut gowns. Amurri shared, "He f**king looooved them."
Amurri's wedding guests included her mother, Susan Sarandon, and her children from her previous marriage to soccer star Kyle Martino.
