Meri explained that after leaving the polygamous lifestyle over a year ago, she realized the importance of surrounding herself with people who support her growth and happiness. She has come to accept that relationships can sometimes be temporary, and it is okay to let them go if they are not mutually beneficial.

Reflecting on her past polygamous marriage, Meri admitted that it took her time to adjust to the dynamic. Growing up in a polygamous household, she initially struggled to comprehend life outside of it. However, she emphasized that just because her life was structured a certain way in the past does not mean it is wrong to embrace change.

Regarding her current relationship with her sister wives, Meri expressed her support for Christine and Janelle's close friendship, saying, "I think it's awesome that they are close. They were not when we were all together, so whatever's made them close like that now, I think it's great."

Meri also revealed that she is open to finding love and getting married again, but this time, she desires a monogamous relationship. "I always only wanted one man, but I also don't want him to have another woman," she joked.

In a separate podcast episode, Meri opened up about the unusual dynamics between herself and Janelle Brown, who was previously married to Meri's brother. Meri admitted that the situation initially caused confusion within their community. However, she believes she has come to terms with it and does not think it significantly impacted their family.
