Joe Ambrosole, who shares 7-month-old son Jayden with Jen, was previously cuffed in April for felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony domestic battery after allegedly attacking the TV personality.

AceShowbiz - The boyfriend of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's ex Jen Harley had a run-in with the law. According to a new report, Joe Ambrosole has been arrested for strong-armed robbery.

Based on court records obtained by Page Six, the 36-year-old was taken into custody on May 26 by Miami police. He was later charged with a felony.

Joe was booked in jail, but eventually released after posting a $1,000 bond. He made his first court appearance one day after his arrest and has an arraignment hearing scheduled for June 25.

Addressing the matter, Joe's lawyer told Page Six, "It is peculiar and unfortunate that Mr. Ambrosole has been arrested for something that allegedly occurred over 18 months ago." The attorney added, "My client unequivocally denies these allegations and looks forward to exercising his right to a jury trial."

This is Joe's second arrest in less than two months. On April 14, he was cuffed for felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony domestic battery after allegedly attacking Jen.

The affidavit for probable cause stated that the SEO expert had gotten into an altercation with the "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" alum because she would not identify who she was texting while they were trying to be intimate. In the documents, Jen claimed her boyfriend had "pinned her head down to the bed" before dragging "her down the stairs by her hair" and then "repeatedly" banged her head against the stove.

Jen obtained a "stay away order" against Joe and she relocated to Las Vegas with their 7-month-old son, Jayden. In response, Joe filed a petition of paternity in an attempt to prevent the real estate agent from leaving the country with Jayden. He also requested a temporary timesharing schedule and stated he "understands there must be a third party exchange due to the domestic violence allegations."
