The 62-year-old rocker talked about the intimate nuptials in a new interview on BBC's "The One Show". He gushed, "They're great, they are absolutely fantastic." About the occasion itself, he said, "It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be, and yeah it's true."
Jon confirmed Jake's wedding to Millie after it was reported that the two exchanged vows during a clandestine ceremony in the middle of the month. The intimate ceremony was attended by their parents, including his singer father and his mother Dorothea Bongiovi.
The event was described as a "very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows." The newlyweds allegedly plan a larger celebration later this year to share their joy with more friends and family.
A few days after tying the knot, Jake and Millie stepped out in the Hamptons. On Friday, May 24, the 20-year-old actress and the 22-year-old model were driving around the island in a bubblegum blue convertible car. In pictures making their rounds, it could be seen that he was sitting behind the wheel of the vehicle while she was in the passenger seat.
One of the photos captured Millie not being able to hide her excitement after getting married to Jake. She was pictured standing up while putting both of her hands up in the air. Aside from their happy faces, Millie and Jake's wedding rings stood out in the particular picture. She was spotted rocking a number of bands, including a sparkling thick silver wedding ring that came with a huge round-cut diamond. As for Jake, he showcased a simple matching band that he wore on that finger.
