
The iconic rockstar has received a special tribute from his former high school, Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey, through its performing arts center.

AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, October 1, Jon Bon Jovi returned to his alma mater for the dedication ceremony. The event included the unveiling of the newly named auditorium, as well as the renaming of the music suite to the Jon Bon Jovi Music Suite.
To commemorate the occasion, Bon Jovi donated a state-of-the-art recording studio to the high school's performing arts department. He also participated in a question-and-answer session with students and signed autographs.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bon Jovi expressed his gratitude for the honor, "So humbled that Sayreville High named their performing arts center yesterday. Thanks to the students who painted this mural and the faculty who made this day so special."
Bon Jovi attended Sayreville War Memorial High School for his junior and senior years. During his time there, he competed in a talent competition and placed second. He also met his future wife, Dorothea Hurley, at the school.
