AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet were spotted enjoying a mom-and-daughter moment in Santa Monica, Calif. The actress and her look-alike daughter were seen grabbing lunch in the city over the weekend.

For the casual outing, the "13 Going on 30" actress dressed in a blue long maxi dress and a matching cardigan. Jennifer, who shares Violet with ex-husband Ben Affleck, paired the look with gray sneakers and black shades.

As for Violet, she mirrored her mom's style though she opted for a white-and-pink floral dress for the outing. Violet, who is towering her mom, added a black cardigan and matching sneakers to her look. The teen also had a red sling bag with her.

In addition to Violet, Jennifer shares Seraphina and Samuel with Ben.

The outing came after Jennifer confirmed the death of her dad, William Garner. "We were with him, singing 'Amazing Grace' as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away- valid question)," the "Alias" alum wrote in a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram page. "While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners."

She went on saying, "We are grateful for Dad's gentle demeanor and quiet strength. For how he teased with a mischievous smile, and for the way he invented the role of all in, ever patient girl dad." She concluded, "We are grateful for his work ethic, leadership and faith."

Ben, who is now married to Jennifer Lopez, allegedly "has been checking in on her and making sure she knows he is there for her since her dad's passing." A source explained, "It was the kids' grandfather, and Ben and him always got along." The former Batman depicter "considered [William] family and always will," so he has been "supportive across the board," the source added.
