AceShowbiz - Tamar Braxton lost some pounds and her man, thanks and no thanks to Ozempic. The singer/actress has reportedly dropped significant amount of her weight after consuming the controversial drug, but it has also cost her her love relationship.

According to Media Take Out, the R&B artist recently began taking the weight loss drug and has since dropped 20 pounds. A person close to the singer, however, says that her weight loss may have indirectly impacted her relationship with Jeremy Robinson a.k.a. JR.

"JR was jealous that Tamar was on the road all the time. Not jealous of another man, jealous of the time that Tamar dedicated to her career and her fans," the source, who asks to remain anonymous, tells the outlet.

The source goes on dishing the reason behind the short-lived reconciliation, "And it wasn't just all the time on the road either. I think Tamar's weight loss gave her new confidence, and JR wasn't comfortable with it."

Neither Tamar nor JR has addressed the split rumor. It's been a while since she posted her fiance on Instagram. Back in February, the pair were trolled online after showing PDA during their Instagram Live session.

In the video, Tamar and JR could be seen spending some quality time alongside her son Logan. At one point, JR affectionately caressed Tamar's back as she was chatting with someone else on the line.

The "Braxton Family Values" star's son also appeared to be in high spirits during their outing. The young boy was dancing happily in front of the camera as they were seemingly waiting for their car in a lobby. Despite their seemingly idyllic display, many urged Tamar to end her relationship with JR and get herself a new man.

The twosome previously called off their engagement in October 2023. They decided to give their relationship another try with JR confirming they got back together in December 2023. A few days later, the pair revealed that they got re-engaged.
