The 'You Bring The Love' singer is met with backlash over her 'completely strained' voice during her performance at the 12th Annual Pure Heat Community Festival.

AceShowbiz - Tamar Braxton apparently has disappointed her fans with her recent performance. After taking the stage at a music festival, the "You Bring The Love" singer received backlash over her "horrible" voice.

Recently, the 47-year-old songstress hit the stage at the 12th Annual Pure Heat Community Festival in front of a packed audience. The concert took place during ATL Black Pride weekend. At the show, she also received the Ultimate Icon Award.

During her set, Tamar entertained her fans by delivering some of her songs. The "Wanna Love You Boy" singer was joined by a number of backing vocalists and backup dancers, who looked in sync with the singer in their nearly all-black outfits.

One of her performances at the time was documented in a video, which was later shared by a blog via Instagram. While the blog highlighted how Tamar took "them clappas to the flo," Instagram users were more focused on her voice. Many of them noticed that she sounded different to that of her other performances.

One in particular blatantly said, "She took her voice to the flo too cuz she sounds like she hollering from the basement…" It did not take long for the particular comment to receive more than 5 thousand likes. Similarly, another chimed in, "She sounds horrible." A third asked, "Omgggg I ain't never hear Tamar sound like this. What's happening here?"

In the meantime, a fourth suggested while making a reference to fellow singer Beyonce Knowles, "Tamar can sing we all know that I just wish she realizes that she's not Beyonce. All of the dancing is not required for her songs. it takes away from her vocals."

A fifth, meanwhile, was quick to come to Tamar's defense, writing, "Yall caught Tamar on a day her voice was completely strained due to allergies and she tried to push thru anyway for her fans... Thats what any dedicated artist would do... ONE THING ABOUT IT... TWO THINGS FOR SURE...Yall know this woman can SAAAAANG.. 1 off day doesn't summarize an entire career."
