The 34-year-old singer/songwriter's "The Tortured Poets Department" becomes her 14th chart-topping album. In the chart dated May 4, the record, which was launched for the first time on April 19, debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart. The set earns 2.61 million equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending April 25, according to Luminate.

Billboard reports that "The Tortured Poets Department" album's SEA units comprise 683,000 or equaling 891.37 million on-demand official streams of all 31 tracks in the album. Meanwhile, traditional album sales comprise 1.914 million and TEA units comprise 14,000.

Upon learning of her album success, Taylor thanked Swifties via Instagram. On Sunday, April 28, she wrote, "My mind is blown. I'm completely floored by the love you've shown this album. 2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed."

Landing at No. 2 is Future and Metro Boomin's collaborative album titled "We Don't Trust You", which ascends after earning 69,000 equivalent album units. In contrast, Beyonce Knowles' country album "Cowboy Carter" drops to No. 3 from No. 2 with 66,000 equivalent album units. Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen's "One Thing at a Time" remains steady at No. 4 with 64,000 equivalent album units.

Pearl Jam's 'Dark Matter' debuts at No. 5 with a little over 59,000 equivalent album units. Future and Metro's latest joint record, "We Still Don't Trust You", descends to No. 6 from No. 1 as it earns 54,000 equivalent album units. Similarly, Noah Kahan's "Stick Season" falls to No. 7 from No. 5 with 45,000 equivalent album units.

Furthermore, Benson Boone's "Fireworks & Rollerblades" slips to No. 8 from No. 7 with 40,000 equivalent album units earned. SZA's "SOS" glides to No. 9 from No. 8 after earning 39,000 equivalent album units. In the meantime, Taylor's "Lover" slightly rises to No. 10 from No. 11 with 37,000 equivalent album units.
