The 'Wasted on You' crooner is facing scrutiny over his alcohol addiction following numerous drunken incidents which led to either arrests or backlash over the years with the latest one nearly injuring police officers.

AceShowbiz - Morgan Wallen's ongoing battle with alcohol has once more made headlines following his recent arrest. On April 7, Wallen allegedly threw a chair off a Nashville rooftop at Eric Church's Chief's bar, leading to his arrest for three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

He reportedly laughed after throwing the chair which landed near police officers. He later flashed a huge grin in his mugshot.

Sources close to Wallen reveal that his drinking has been a recurring issue. "Morgan and alcohol is a problem, and it's been a problem that keeps coming back around," an insider told People magazine. "When he gets going, he doesn't know when to stop."

Wallen's drinking habits have been previously linked to other incidents. In 2020, he was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. A year later, he spent 30 days in treatment after using a racial slur while intoxicated.

Despite past attempts to address his alcohol use, Wallen's drinking has continued to affect his life. In 2023, rumors circulated that his drunken behavior led to a last-minute concert cancellation.

It was previously rumored that Wallen's latest drunken arrest was triggered by his ex-fiancee KT Smith's wedding announcement, but she was quick to deny any connection between Wallen's arrest and her new relationship status. Photos of Wallen interacting with a woman during the evening of the incident have since surfaced online.

Wallen's own music reflects his struggle with alcohol. In "Born with a Beer in My Hand," he sings, "Everybody says it's gonna be the death of me / But these days I'm livin' on the side of alive / Just 'cause I smile through my sobriety / Don't mean it ain't chillin' in the back of my mind."

Sources indicate that Wallen may need to consider further in-house rehab treatment if his drinking issue persists. Wallen is scheduled to open his own bar in Nashville this year and has upcoming concert dates on his One Night at a Time World Tour.
