The 'All the Way Up' emcee, whose real name is Joseph Antonio Cartagena, makes it clear that he is 'not disrespecting nobody' by showing support to Puff and his family.

AceShowbiz - Fat Joe is one of the celebrities to weigh in on Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' ongoing legal issues. Showing his support, the "All the Way Up" rapper said he's been praying for the best thing for the Bad Boy Records founder and his family.

The 53-year-old offered his two cents when sitting down with Hot 97 on Friday, March 29. "What I can say in the most respectful way is, I don't know all the details," he said. "But I've been praying for him and his family."

"He's my friend for 30 years," the emcee, born Joseph Antonio Cartagena, continued. "And so, I'm gonna just see what the outcome is, and I'm praying for the best thing for him, and his family, and everybody involved."

Fat Joe went on to make it clear that he is "not disrespecting nobody." He then emphasized, "I'm just praying for this whole situation - this whole nightmare - I'm praying that it goes away."

Prior to this, Tyrese Gibson came to Diddy's defense on social media. Sharing a photo of the latter on Instagram he penned, "I don't condone nor do I support abuse, bullying, sexual assault, or anything that is currently being alleged... But what I can't do is turn the blinds on how much this means to me and all of us, and what he had done for the community of music and culture."

Tyrese's message drew criticism from some social media users, but he defended his stance, claiming that he was simply saying what others were too afraid to. "Don't worry, I'm the only one crazy enough to jump out there and say what most of you want to say but you don't have the balls to do so," the "F9" actor declared.
