The 'Believe' hitmaker is reportedly taken by little Slash, her boyfriend's 4-year-old son, and now considers to adopt a baby with her much-younger beau.

AceShowbiz - Pop icon Cher, who has been dating music producer Alexander "A.E." Edwards for over a year, is reportedly smitten with his 4-year-old son, Slash. This has sparked a desire in her to have another child.

"She's telling AE it's her dream in life to have another baby," an insider told In Touch. "She missed the boat on freezing eggs and hiring a surrogate, but adoption is something she very much would like to do."

Cher, now 77, doesn't believe her age should deter her from becoming a mother again. "She stays fit and plans to live well into her 90s like her mom," the source added.

Moreover, Cher's sometimes-strained relationship with her grown sons, Chaz and Elijah, may have influenced her longing for another child. "She was so career focused when they were young," the source said. "She'll appreciate being a mom this time around."

Cher's relationship with Edwards has had its ups and downs. They briefly broke up in May 2023 but reportedly reunited a few months later. Despite the age difference of 40 years, Cher says she's happy with Edwards.

"Alexander has diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he's way younger. He's a beautiful man," Cher said. "I think it's fun to be interested in somebody else's love life!"

The couple first met at Paris Fashion Week in September 2022 and quickly became a topic of discussion in the entertainment world. Despite internet chatter about their age difference, Cher believes in embracing happiness in the moment.

"If you have happiness, you can't think about how long it's going to last," she said. "... live in the moment."

Apart from their romance, Cher and Edwards are also collaborating musically. Edwards produced her new track "Drop Top Sleigh Ride," which appears on her Christmas album.
