AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez couldn't be more grateful to have Steve Martin and Martin Short as her "best friends." On Tuesday, March 26, the "Only Murders in the Building" star penned a sweet tribute to her co-stars to show her appreciation.

Making use of Instagram, the 31-year-old shared a black-and-white picture of the trio lounging together on the set of their hit Hulu series. She began her caption by writing, "I want to thank @stevemartinreally and Marty (who hates social media) for truly being the most kind, gentle, warm and powerful influences in my life."

"You have shown me a level of class, intellect and humor that doesn't seem to be easy to find anymore," the Rare Beauty founder continued. "You guys are truly best friends to me forever. #thebear (inside joke)."

Recently, Selena uploaded a photo on her Instagram Story of the white roses she received from Steve and Martin at the start of filming season 4 of "Only Murders in the Building". There was a note that read, "We're so happy to be back with you, love, Steve and Marty."

Selena has loved working with the veteran stars on the hit comedy-drama series. The singer/actress previously explained that they've helped to create a very positive atmosphere on set.

"We're constantly laughing on set. And I think that is coming from the top, meaning Steve and Marty really make sure that they are coming from a place of joy," she told The Wrap. "They just want everyone to laugh."

"Like, they get so happy when there's a camera guy behind the camera just moving their body because they can't laugh out loud. It is the best feeling to make someone laugh. It truly is. It's awesome," she gushed. "So they're constantly doing jokes."

"I'm picking on them, they're picking on me," Selena further elaborated. "Even in the morning, just walking into hair and make-up, sometimes I'll just look at Steve and laugh. And then he'll laugh because he knows I'm just laughing at him just being him. It's ridiculous. Both of us."
