AceShowbiz - Amidst ongoing speculation about Kate Middleton's health following a recent surgery, Kensington Palace's release of an altered Mother's Day portrait has reignited controversy surrounding her use of Photoshop.
According to global photo agency Getty Images, Kate's alleged history of editing photos predates the Mother's Day incident.
A spokesperson for the agency revealed that a photograph of the late Queen Elizabeth II with her great-grandchildren, taken by Kate in 2022, has been digitally enhanced at source. The Telegraph highlighted inconsistencies in the image, such as a mismatched line on the Queen's skirt and repeated patterns in Mia Tindall's hair.
"Getty Images has reviewed the image in question and placed an editor's note on it, stating that the image has been digitally enhanced at source."
Kate has previously admitted to occasionally editing photographs, stating that she wanted to express her apologies for any confusion caused by the Mother's Day picture. The recent controversy has raised questions about the authenticity of images released by the royal family.
Separately, Kate Middleton was reportedly spotted shopping at a farm shop near her Windsor home, appearing relaxed and smiling.
