AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, March 19, the divorce between Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez was finalized in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The two-year marriage was dissolved after the couple settled their divorce in October 2023.
According to TMZ, the divorce was made official after a previously agreed-upon settlement took effect. The settlement includes a one-time payment of $1.25 million from Grande to Gomez and a split of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home. Grande will also pay up to $25,000 for Gomez's attorney fees.
Grande, 30, and Gomez, 28, began dating in early 2020 and married in May 2021. Their relationship reportedly began to deteriorate as the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, with Gomez being uncomfortable with Grande's celebrity status and busy schedule.
After separating in early 2023, Grande filed for divorce in September. The couple had previously agreed to a prenuptial agreement, which helped expedite the divorce proceedings.
Since the split, Grande has been dating actor Ethan Slater and Gomez has also moved on. The divorce marks the end of their nearly three-year marriage.
