AceShowbiz - Sydney Sweeney and Josh Brolin have been tapped to host upcoming episodes of "Saturday Night Live". The hit NBC comedy show made the announcement on its social media accounts on Tuesday, February 20.

Sydney is set to make her hosting debut in the March 2 episode of the popular show. The "Madame Web" actress will be joined by Kacey Musgraves, who will serve as the musical guest.

Sydney's hosting gig comes amid the promotion for the Spider-verse film, where she plays a character named Julia Carpenter. Additionally, the "Euphoria" star's new film "Immaculate" is set to open in theaters on March 22. As for Kacey, the musician will release her new album "Deeper Well" on March 15.

Set to air on March 9, the following episode will see Josh returning as a host. It marks the Thanos depicter's third time hosting the long-running show. The episode will also feature musical guest Ariana Grande returning for a third time to the series.

The episode will arrive in the wake of the release of highly-anticipated "Dune: Part Two" in which Josh reprises the role of Gurney Halleck. On the other hand, Ariana's new album "Eternal Sunshine" is set to be released on March 8.

In response to the announcement, fans couldn't help but show excitement in the comments section. An Arianator said, "ARIANAAAAAAAAAAA ?????????????????? WE WON !!" Another fan added, "Kacey Musgraves[heart and fire emojis]." A user, meanwhile, joked, "Ariana finally had the courage to leave the house."

But before that, previously-announced host Shane Gillis will be making his hosting debut on "SNL" in the February 24 episode. The stand-up comedian initially joined the show as a new cast member back in 2019 before he was fired due to racist, homophobic, Islamophobic and misogynistic jokes. Rapper 21 Savage will be the musical guest in the episode.
