AceShowbiz - A new clip went viral as it shows Sofia Vergara shutting down a male interviewer in a Spanish talk show. At one point during her appearance on "El Hormiguero" to promote her upcoming Netflix series "Griselda", the actress was talking about her time on hit comedy "Modern Family".

When Sofia was answering a question, host Pablo Motos was heard interrupting her. Seemingly poking fun at the Emmy winner's English accent, he asked, "How do you say 'Modern Family'?"

Sofia didn't seem to be pleased by the question and responded, "I say it wrong? Oh, because you speak better English than me? Ah." The "America's Got Talent" judge then looked visibly annoyed as she comically turned away from the presenter.

When Pablo appeared to try defending himself, Sofia quickly shut him down by wittily asking, "How many Emmy nominations do you have in the United States? How many times did they nominate you at the Golden Globes?"

Recently, Sofia made headlines for her stunning look while attending the premiere for "Griselda" at the Golden Age of Hollywood in Madrid. At the Tuesday, January 10 event, the 51-year-old brunette beauty oozed glamor in an off-the-shoulder, long-sleeved, floor-length black gown with a sweetheart neckline from designer Alexander McQueen. The dress additionally featured luxurious-looking silver and gold woven fabric around the sleeves.

On "Griselda", Sofia takes on the role of Griselda Blanco, an ambitious Colombian business woman who created one of the most profitable cartels in history. Created by "Narcos" and "Narcos: Mexico" showrunner Eric Newman, the series will also star Alberto Guerra, Christian Tappan, Martin Rodriguez, Juliana Aiden Martinez, Vanessa Ferlito and Carolina Giraldo Navarro a.k.a. Karol G.

Griselda is set to premiere on Netflix on January 25.
