AceShowbiz - Bruna Biancardi has set the record straight. After it was rumored that she and soccer star Neymar broke up shortly after welcoming their first child together due to his infidelity, the model took to Instagram to reveal that they're not together romantically.
On Instagram Stories, Bruna wrote a message in Portuguese that translates to, "This is a private matter, but since I'm always related to the news, assumptions and jokes, I inform you that I'm not in a relationship."
She went on to say in the Tuesday, November 28 post that she and the Brazilian athlete are nothing but co-parents. "We are Mavie's parents and this is the reason for our bond," she stressed, before concluding, "I hope this way you will stop relating me to the news frequently."
Bruna's post came after Neymar was caught begging for nudes to another woman. Fans quickly put Neymar on blast with one saying, "all he knows how to do is cheat on beautiful, loyal women. he'll get his karma someday." Another added, "you'd think someone of his caliber would have some class.. or atleast some self respect."
"he's honestly sick she JUST had his baby…," one user pointed out. One other, meanwhile, trolled the 31-year-old athlete by writing, "He should be begging for a hairline."
Neymar and Bruna announced the arrival of their daughter Mavie in October. "Our Mavie came to complete our lives. Welcome, daughter! You are already very loved by us... thank you for choosing us," he wrote in the caption, which was originally written in Portuguese, alongside a loving picture of the trio.
The two broke the baby news in April when they shared a picture of Neymar kissing Bruna's baby bump. The caption, as translated from Portuguese, read, "We dream about your life, plan for your arrival, and know that you are here to complete our love and make our days much happier."
"You will arrive in a beautiful family, with your brother, grandparents, uncles, and aunties who already love you very much! Come soon son (or daughter), we are looking forward to you!" it continued.
In addition to Mavie, Neymar is a dad to son Davi Lucca, 12, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Carolina Dantas.
