A few days after claiming that he decided to stop smoking, the 'Day Shift' actor films himself cheerfully smoking while wishing social media users a 'happy Thanksgiving.'

AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg appeared cheerful following his tricky quitting smoke announcement. A few days after claiming that he decided to stop smoking, the actor portraying Big John Elliott in "Day Shift" was all smiles in a new smoking video.

On Thursday, November 23, the 52-year-old actor/hip-hop artist uploaded on his Instagram account a never-before-seen clip of him cheerfully smoking while listening to a classic song. In the footage, he could be seen sitting down on a chair and rolling a backwood with both of his hands. At one point, Snoop exclaimed, "Happy thanksgiving!"

Along with the video, the "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper, who was spotted smoking after grabbing dinner with actor Don Cheadle at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Wednesday night, simply penned in the caption of the post, "Vibes." He also added a slew of smoke emojis.

It did not take long for the post to be flooded with hilarious online responses from Instagram users. In the comments section, one in particular penned, "A friend of mine who gave up cannabis a few months ago reposted your post, he now wants everyone to give up on Cannabis as well, he was so proud and sharing it on social media."

Another joined in, "What you doing bruh? you trick us all can't believe," adding a slew of smiling faces with tears of joy emojis. Meanwhile, a third wrote, "Hold up didn't anyone else realize he just rolled a backwood perfect in under 30 seconds lol. I mean I’m good, but damn, that's what you get from a lifetime I guess haha."

The new video came around one week after Snoop announced his decision about quitting smoke. On November 16, he uploaded via Instagram a photo of him with both of his hands in front of his mouth. Next to it, a message read, "After much consideration and conversation with my family, I've decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time." Along with the snap, he stressed in the caption, "I'm giving up smoke."

Snoop's decision to stop smoking even inspired other artists, including Coi Leray and Meek Mill, to do so. However, Snoop released an advertisement for Solo Stove, a smokeless fire pit brand, on November 20. Accompanying the campaign, he wrote, "I'm done with smoke. I'm going smokeless with @solostove. #ad."
