AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen laughed off a wardrobe malfunction at a recent event. Shortly after suffering a fashion faux pas when making an appearance at the Baby2Baby Gala, the "Chrissy's Court" star shared her reaction to the incident via social media.
On Sunday, November 12, the 37-year-old star made use of Instagram Story to upload a photo featuring the wardrobe mishap, which caused her to accidentally expose her back. In the snap, she could be seen bending over to show off the broken zipper.
Instead of getting stressed out over the malfunction, the former "Lip Sync Battle" host, who wrote a cookbook titled "Cravings", chose to laugh it off. Over the photo, she simply penned, "Oh lol."
The wardrobe mishap happened when Chrissy was sitting in the audience during the Baby2Baby gala, which took place at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California on Saturday. For the event, she looked stunning in an eye-catching asymmetrical long black dress.
The gown was long enough to trail down her back. It also came with a number of 3D flower embellishments with white outline, one sleeve and a slit, which was high enough to expose her upper thigh, on one of her legs.
The wife of Oscar-winning singer John Legend completed the look with a pair of strappy black open-toe high heels, a clutch from Jeffrey Levinson and a pair of silver earrings. Her short hair was styled into loose waves and parted to the side, covering a small part of her face.
During the event, Chrissy was seen striking a number of poses with actor Matthew McConaughey's wife Camila Alves. In pictures making their rounds online, Camila put on a busty display in a glossy ice blue satin bra top and matching dress, which was long enough to cover her shoes and feet. She accessorized the look with a number of rings.
Aside from Chirssy and Camila, the star-studded event was attended by other famous stars, including reality TV star Kim Kardashian, model Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin) and actress/director Olivia Wilde. In addition, supermodel Heidi Klum and actress Salma Hayek were among the guests.
