AceShowbiz - Kevin Costner has reportedly moved on from his bitter divorce by dating an A-list actress. Rumor has it that the two-time Academy Award winner has been wooing Reese Witherspoon, who also just went through a divorce earlier this year.

According to a report, the 68-year-old actor has been interested in the 47-year-old actress for a long time. However, they did not develop romantic feelings for each other until they began talking about potential projects together recently.

"Kevin's had his eye on Reese ever since she won her Oscar, but he didn't count on finding her absolutely charming as hell," a source told New Idea. "They've been calling and texting on the pretence of finding the perfect script, but it's becoming almost a daily occurrence."

"No-one is surprised that Kevin and Reese have hit it off," the so-called insider added, before noting, "They're extremely compatible."

But with his Western epic movie "Horizon: An American Saga" gearing up to be released in the summer of 2024, Kevin is reportedly being mindful to keep the spotlight on his work, not his love life. "Kevin wants more Oscars for this, not tabloid headlines," the source said. "He and Reese are always careful to not be seen together but as soon as his 'Horizon' commitments are done, they may be more relaxed about being seen together in public. It's still very early days."

Of what Kevin allegedly finds attractive about Reese, the source spilled, "He thinks she's a genius and he's in way over his head, but Reese has completely disarmed him." The informant went on to claim, "Their friends think they're a great match but are giving them the space they need to see if it's the real deal before laying all their cards down in public."

Kevin settled his divorce from Christine Baumgartner in September after she filed for divorce in May. As for Reese, she and James Toth announced their split in March after 11 years of marriage.
