AceShowbiz - Former child star Adam Wylie had a run-in with the law. The actor, who's best known for playing Zack Brock, the youngest son of Doctor and Sheriff Brock's children, on "Picket Fences", reportedly got arrested for shoplifting at Target.
According to TMZ, the 39-year-old was caught stealing several items on Friday, October 13 at one of the retail giant's stores in Burbank, California. A spokesperson for the Burbank Police Department shared that Target loss prevention officers "observed the suspect select health and beauty products from the display shelf and conceal them in a shopping cart with other merchandise."
Adam then "proceeded to the self-checkout," but allegedly "only scanned some of the items" in his cart. He was then approached by security to be escorted back inside as they waited for cops to arrive.
The stolen and recovered items, which include beauty products and clothing, reportedly totaled $108.05. Adam was cited for petty theft, but he was eventually released.
After news about his arrest made media headlines, Adam's followers on social media roasted him for his alleged crime. "Was this posted before or after you shoplifted??" one person asked, while another commented, "Stealing from Target," adding a crying laughing emoji.
Adam was famous for his portrayal of Zack Brok on "Picket Fences". Aside from the 1990's series, he appeared in "Kindergarten Cop," the Disney Channel film "Under Wraps" as well as on Broadway in 2002's "Into the Woods."
