AceShowbiz - While her husband Dean McDermott seemingly enjoys his new romance with another girl, Tori Spelling has just found herself in a terrifying situation. The mother of five was forced to evacuate her rental home with her kids amid SWAT team's ambush on an armed neighbor.
On Wednesday, October 18, the actress was frantically leaving the house she is renting in Los Angeles after SWAT team showed up to arrest her neighbor who was armed with an AR-15 rifle. In pictures circulating online, she was seen running "in full sprint" as she "raced to find her kids" upon learning of the situation.
According to onlookers, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum "looked visibly distraught" as she was seen running towards the home she is renting to get her children and leave the house. She was eventually evacuated with her children out of the home.
Tori was later seen standing among onlookers behind yellow tape. Looking worried, she had her arms crossed on her chest while looking down. She clutched her phone in her hand while her children were nowhere to be seen with her.
"The Last Sharknado: It's About Time" star was dressed in a yellow graphic T-shirt, distressed denim cargo pants and blue-and-white Nike sneakers. She also wore a black beanie, oversized sunglasses and choker necklaces.
According to sources, a hostage situation was reported and an armed man had barricaded himself inside a home in Tori's neighborhood. The man was allegedly "threatening to shoot" the hostage and law enforcement officials.
The man was taken into custody after a two-hour standoff. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue basketball shorts and sneakers as SWAT team officers whisked him away in handcuffs, but his identity has not yet been revealed.
Tori moved into the rental house after she and kids stayed in an RV for a period of time amid her split from her husband Dean and their reported financial issues. The "Dead Again in Tombstone" actor was recently seen holding hands with his alleged new girlfriend Lily Calo when visiting the Department of Social Services' West Valley office on Tuesday.
