AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa have poked fun at their feud rumors in new photos. Making use of social media, the "Only Murders in the Building" actress and the "How I Met Your Father" star also teased their new collaborative project.
Selena and Francia, who are 31 years old and 35 years old respectively, wore black sweatshirts that came with white "No Beef, Just Salsa" graphics on its front side, as seen in a series of photos uploaded by Francia via Instagram on Friday, October 13. The two even displayed a closer look at the tops in one of the photos as they were sticking out their tongues at the camera.
In the snaps, the two besties were striking a number of poses in matching long black pants when they were in a bowling alley. Aside from the two photos, Francia released a teaser of her and Selena's new collaborative project. Featuring the same shirt that they donned, it also included a message that read, "EXCITING News Coming Monday." Francia wrote the same note in the caption of the post and added, "#nobeefjustsalsa."
Selena and Francia were speculated to be in a feud following the former's public remarks in November 2022. Selena, who received a kidney donor from Francia during a battle with lupus, told Rolling Stone that Taylor Swift was her "only friend in the industry."
Selena's statement was then posted via Instagram, prompting Francia to comment, "Interesting." However, Francia later deleted her online response. After that, Selena clarified via TikTok, "Sorry I didn't mention every person I know."
On October 4, Francia cleared the air that her beef with Selena had "nothing to do with the kidney." Speaking to Extra, she said, "Sometimes, I feel people need to spend time apart in order to grow. We had to almost go on our own journey and grow... I am really happy in my career now and my endeavor."
"I don't know if I would be able to do that if I didn't really take some time for myself and figure out what the hell was going on with me, because I wasn't okay," she continued. "I am okay now, and just for the record, it had nothing to do with the kidney."
