Following their reconciliation earlier this summer, the 'Zoey 101' star says in a new interview that she has 'nothing but absolute love for every single one of my family members.'

AceShowbiz - Jamie Lynn Spears has gotten candid about her relationship with Britney Spears and how the family drama deeply "affected" her daughter. Having reconciled with her elder sister doesn't make the 32-year-old mother of two forget how the whole thing that played out on social media caused pain to her eldest child.

"It makes me sad," the "Zoey 101" star said in an interview with Variety's Marc Malkin. "I don't want my daughter to feel that way. So I have to say I will absolutely not allow my children - especially my oldest daughter, who was very affected by all of it - I will not allow her to feel this way in her life."

"My strength is out of the love for my children and wanting to make sure that I do not give way to anything other than what I know to be authentic and true," she continued. "It was hard, but at the end of the day, look where I am now."

Wiping tears from her eyes, she added, "It just makes me sad when I think about my kids. I don't ever want them to feel the pain or the scrutiny. That's not necessary and it's not theirs to carry. So I'll carry it. That's fine."

Asked how she explained it to her children, Jamie Lyn shared, "I say, 'You should be so proud. Look at what your family's done and accomplished. We came from a small town, and now everybody's fascinated by the good and, especially, the bad. But look at what an example of a strong female you have. You have something to be proud of, and you should have pride in that.' And kids are kids, so I'm sure there's a lot meaner things that they're doing to each other in high school."

At the end of the day, she said, "I have nothing but absolute love for every single one of my family members." She went on divulging, "If I learned anything from last year, being so open and feeling like I had to defend myself at times, I don't feel like there's anything else that I need to say. I just have to leave it where it is because those conversations are meant to be personal. All I can focus on now is my girls, my husband and the work that I'm doing."

Britney revealed in June that she had patched things up with her sister Jamie Lynn after visiting her on a set of an unspecified project. "It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!! I've missed you guys so much !!! Loyal girls stay home but it's so nice to visit family !!!" she wrote on Instagram along with a video of her and husband Sam Asghari on board a yacht.

Earlier this year, Britney also reunited with her mother Lynne Spears when the latter visited the pop star's home in Los Angeles back in May. "My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years ... it's been such a long time," the "Lucky" singer expressed her joy on Instagram after the meet-up. They were said to "have been in constant communication since" then.
