AceShowbiz - Braunwyn Windham-Burke is hearing wedding bells. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" said she has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Jennifer Spinner and she's so "thrilled" by the engagement.
The 45-year-old proposed to her partner at 14th Street Park in New York City. Speaking of the engagement, she told PEOPLE, "I've never been happier... Jen is my person. She said to me once, 'How much do you love me?' And I looked at her and said, 'It's not how much I love you. It's how small I love you. I love you on a molecular level.' "
"And that's really it. My DNA was made for her," she added. "I'm a thrilled to be able to say now, 'This is my fiancée' - just like I know, I'm going to one day be able to say, 'This is my wife.' "
Braunwyn, who shares seven children with estranged husband Sean Burke, said she recreated her first date with Jennifer for the proposal. "We had been talking over direct message and over the phone for few weeks at that point, but we hadn't met in person yet," she recalled.
"And I we both went into the day thinking we would just be friends. In fact, she'll tell you, she came more for a story!" the former Bravo personality added. "She was like, 'Won't this be a funny story to tell my friends one day? The time I hung out with a Housewife?' "
"There wasn't a topic we didn't discuss that first day," she continued gushing. "We got deep, fast. It was, 'What's important to you? What do you want out of life? What's your relationship with your family? Do you want children? Are you spiritual?' We talked about it all. Through that, we found we had all these things in common. And we quickly started to realize, 'Oh, this is something else.' "
Braunwyn also broke the engagement news on Instagram. Sharing photos of her and her fiancee, she raved, "She said 'YES!' Happy Anniversary @hashtag_blehssed , I couldn't imagine a more perfect place then where we first met to ask you to be my wife and spend your life with me!"
"You truly are my person, I love you in all the ways, big and small, and I can't wait to marry you (yes we have a date!!) xoxo I HAVE A FIANCE !!!" she additionally noted. "Thank you @underthetreenj for the perfect set up and @cj.sykess for capturing the moment !!!"
