AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Braunwyn Windham-Burke finds herself at the center of a fiery legal battle with her ex-husband, Sean, over custody and allegations of child abuse. The contentious dispute revolves primarily around their 11-year-old son, Curren, who has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, the situation boiled over this past summer when Sean reported an incident involving Braunwyn to the Franklin Police Department.

On August 14, officers documented rug burns on Curren, which Sean claimed were from the boy being dragged out from under a bed by his mother. This led to a referral to the Department of Child Services (DCS) for further investigation, complicating their already heated custody battle.

Despite finalizing their divorce in November 2023 in California, Braunwyn and Sean have been sparring over child support, spousal support payments, and where their children should attend school. Their seven children are caught in the middle of this dispute: Bella (24), Rowan (22), Jacob (19), twins Caden and Curren (11), Koa (10), and Hazel (6).

In her defense, a representative for Braunwyn stated, "After multiple interviews with the children, the allegations against Braunwyn were declared as unfounded." She was awarded primary custody of most of the children and committed to ensuring their health and safety.

However, tensions remain high as accusations fly from both sides. Sean has accused Braunwyn of neglect and has documented instances to support his claims while Braunwyn argues that these actions are Sean's attempts to financially and emotionally distress her. She contends that Sean refuses to facilitate contact between her and Curren, making her parenting responsibilities challenging.

In the latest filings from December, Braunwyn has highlighted Sean's supposed negligence in support payments, claiming he owes her nearly $106,000 in unpaid child and spousal support. Sean, on the other hand, argues he is financially strained and thus unable to fulfill these obligations, stating he cannot afford even the $1,300 monthly tuition for Curren's private schooling.

The feud is set to continue into the new year, with a court hearing scheduled to reevaluate their parenting plan and hopefully bring some resolution to the multifaceted issues at hand. As both sides prepare to present their arguments, the well-being of their children remains a contentious and central concern.
