The 'Anti-Hero' singer describes herself and her bestie Selena as 'local neighborhood independent girlies' in photos from the Fourth of July celebration with the HAIM sisters and others.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez apparently bonded over their relationship status during the Fourth of July holiday. The 12-time Grammy winner has declared herself and her bestie "local neighborhood independent girlies" after their reunion at a July 4th celebration.
On Friday, July 7, a few hours before she hit the stage at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, the country-turned-pop superstar made use of her Instagram page to share photos from the party held earlier this week. In one of the snaps, she and the 30-year-old singer/actress were posing on the grass along with their pals Este Haim, Danielle Haim, Alana Haim, stylist Ashley Avignone and Sydney Ness.
The second slide included photo collage that featured the girls having fun while enjoying drinks and singing in the kitchen. Taylor was also pictured hugging Selena from behind, while another snap showed the two stars licking the same popsicle.
The third slide featured a solo shot of Taylor sitting with the background of the calm water. "Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies," she wrote in the caption, adding, "See you tonight Kansas Cityyy."
The HAIM band's official Instagram page shared the same snaps from the Fourth of July celebration and further confirmed their respective relationship status as they captioned it, "single summer."
Taylor's post seemed to set the record straight after she was rumored back together with Matty Healy. The pair split in June following their short fling, but The Sun recently reported that they rekindled their romance. Life & Style, however, quickly debunked the reconciliation report, citing a source who characterized the story as completely false.
As for Selena, she has been rumored to be "casually" dating Jeremy Allen White, who has been in the midst of divorce with his estranged wife Addison Timlin. On Tuesday, July 4, "The Bear" star was spotted ditching his wedding ring while running errands in Los Angeles.
